August 2021

Welcome Los Osos Middle School Families,

We would like to welcome you and your family to a fun, supportive, and engaging 2019-2020 school year.  Our PTSA board is comprised of four parents and as we lead the PTSA community, we are all available for your questions, ideas, and suggestions.

What is PTSA?  PTSA is a national organization composed of parents, teachers, students and staff that is intended to facilitate parental participation in a school.  We often share that the PTSA at Los Osos Middle School is here to support the students and staff and provide fun and entertaining events for our students.

Our current budget will pay for and/or support….

-field trips

-teacher support

-dances (chaperones and snacks)

-staff appreciation lunches

-Rendezvous Day

-Tough Two (set up & day of volunteers)

-Science 2.0

-end of the year activities

Our goal is for all families to feel welcome and encouraged to participate in school activities.  We strive to provide a forum for communication between parents, teachers, students and staff.  Please follow us on Facebook at LOMS PTSA and look for updates through ParentSquare.

Our first meeting will be Tuesday, Sept. 10th at 6:30 pm in the library.  We meet the second Tuesday of each month.  Please come to learn more about our role at LOMS, how you can help, and to share ideas.  If you have any questions please email us at
